The tour lasts for approximately 1.5 hours and comprises a guided walk around the vineyard and a tour of the winery with tasting.

Eastcott Vineyard lies within easy reach of the A30 in central West Devon and nestles in a delightful sheltered vale, a few miles north-west of Okehampton. The vineyard enjoys well drained gently south-east facing slopes above a valley carved by a tributary of the River Lew. From the top of the vineyard the highest point of Dartmoor National Park is just visible beyond a ridge that provides crucial shelter.

Their grape vines have been carefully chosen to suit the English climate and for the production of high quality sparkling wine, as well as a range of white, rose and red wines. Production times for sparkling wine extend for up to three years and so they will be building the range year on year. Please see the website for details of current products.

The state of the art, temperature controlled, 260 sq. m winery went into production in 2008. The equipment includes a sophisticated pneumatic press, capable of the very gentle processing required to produce the highest quality juice, and modern variable capacity stainless steel tanks for controlled fermentation and storage.
