Exmouth Festival Week

Exmouth Festival is a nine-day celebration of music, arts, theatre, workshops and the famous Exmouth Sand sculpture competition. The festival usually attracts over 35,000 visitors over the nine days.

Exmouth Festival showcases local musicians, bands and artists. Performances range from acoustic, indie and punk-rock bands to soul and folk singer-songwriters, from nostalgic 60's music to the latest experimental styles of music.

Other features include the legendary Town Crier Competition, a Carnival and Victorian Fayre. A range of plays by local Thatre Companies as well as Art exhibitions, Ceramic Exhibitions and even Story-Telling in the Museum.

Exmouth Festival is supported by the local community either with financial support from local business such as Coast/Cafe/Bar/Bowl, precious time and energy from volunteers, ideas and inspiration from artist groups, music from our many talented musicians, space from the wealth of great pubs and music venues in the town and promotion from its own local radio station, Bay FM.

Getting Here:

By train: there are frequent and direct services from nationwide locations to Exeter St Davids and there are frequent connecting trains to Exmouth with some great views of the Exe Estuary!

By coach/bus: National Express and Megabus operate coach services to Exeter from numerous locations, and there are frequent bus services connecting to Exmouth.

Cycling/walking: there are some fantastic cycling and walking routes including the Exe Estuary Trail from Exeter to Exmouth, with excellent views of the estuary. Bikes are also available for hire from various locations including Exeter and Topsham. You could travel by train/coach to Exeter and then cycle to Exmouth!

Car sharing: sharing the car means sharing the cost. Check out www.blablacar.com to see if anyone is going your way.
