There is plenty to do for all ages in the area including Clovelly, the lighthouse and quay at Hartland, the Big Sheep and Milky Way amusement parks, RHS Rosemoor at Torrington, cycling on the Tarka Trail or crabbing at Ilfracombe harbour. The regional town of Barnstaple has plenty of good shops and restaurants and the pannier market and Butcher’s Row are well worth a visit.
