This newly renovated and refurbished house is situated in an enviable position, a level 5 minute walk to the long 2 miles of sandy surfing beach at Westward Ho!. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard, South Corner Cottage offers the ultimate in luxury and location. On the edge of Northam Burrows, which is a haven for wildlife with horses and sheep grazing, it is also the home of The Royal North Devon Golf Club which once held the British Open. Westward Ho! offers a wide range of facilities from riding, tennis, family pubs, restaurants and other leisure activities. Walk through the village and enjoy the clifftop walks which offer breathtaking scenery. In the other direction is the traditional fishing village of Appledore with its quaint narrow lanes, restaurants, Maritime Museum and galleries. Other attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Clovelly with its steep, stepped cobbled streets and the market town of Bideford which is also the home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. In the evenings relax in the enclosed lawned garden or watch the sun go down from the decking with BBQ and seating.
