With car parking facilities on the forecourt the hotel is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor National Park whether it is your annual holiday or off season break. Local activities include walking riding tennis and putting and the North Cliff is ideally situated for exploring the coastline and Exmoor National Park. The road in front of the hotel forms part of The South West Coastal Path and the remarkable Valley of the Rocks is a 2-mile walk. The famous water powered Cliff Railway linking Lynton and Lynmouth passes within a few feet of the hotel and is accessed via the stepped garden.
